August 14

Day 1

  • Dinner - Saucer Pizza (bagel bites), Sun Chips, Apples, Rice Krispy Treat
  • Point - When life feels dark, shine Jesus' light!
  • Verse - Jesus...said, "I am the light of the world."
  • Story - Jesus comes as a baby to be king

August 15

Day 2

  • Dinner - Asteroids and Craters (swedish meatballs w/ mashed potatoes), Green Beans, Fruit Cup, Rolls
  • Point - When people don't get along, shine Jesus' light!
  • Verse - Live in harmony with each other.
  • Story - Jesus accepts Zacchaeus

August 16

Day 3

  • Dinner - Cosmo Chicken Nuggets w/Fries, Corn, Watermelon, Jell-O Cups
  • Point - When good things happen, shine Jesus' light!
  • Verse - "Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!"
  • Story - Jesus enters Jerusalem as a king.

August 17

Day 4

  • Half Moon Tacos, Honey Dew Melon, Rice Krispy Treats
  • Point - When people are sad, shine Jesus' light.
  • Verse - Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God.
  • Story - Jesus cares for his mother during his crucifixion.

August 18

Day 5

  • Dinner - Back to Earth BBQ! Hot Dogs, Fries, Fruit Kabobs, Cupcakes
  • Point - When people need help, shine Jesus' light!
  • Verse - Let your good deeds shine...so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
  • Story - Philip helps the Ethiopian
