Angelfood Ministries:  Order taking days: Sun. July  18th from 9:30-10:00am and 12-12:30pm.  Online ordering deadline, Tues., 7/20  @ 11:59pm www.angelfoodministries.comDistribution Day: Sat., July 24th from 8:00 to 9:00am.

 

Lawn Care Schedule:  Thank you to all who have volunteered to care for our church grounds.  The schedule will be posted monthly on the website and is located on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall.

New Sermon Series beginning this Sunday:  Summer of Purpose -         July 11th through August 18th, 10am Sunday Mornings: Join Pastor Thurman as we look at a book (The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren) that sparked a phenomenon back in 2002.  Each week, Pastor Thurman will look at one day of that week’s purpose and look again at finding purpose in the Christian Life.

Pastor Thurman’s Sunday morning study group will review that week’s reading beginning July 18th at 10:00am.

 

Children’s Church – There is a new sign up sheet in the Fellowship Hall for Children’s Church volunteers. 

 

UMW’s School of Christian Mission – July 21-24, Methodist University-Fayetteville, NC.

Who should attend:  All men, women, youth of the Church who like to worship God, learn new things and enjoy the fellowship of Christians are invited to attend.  Local officers and members of UMW, District and Conference UMW Officers and District Chairpersons of Outreach Ministries. 

There are three sessions:  1.The Beauty of Courage of Sudan:  Why a Dream of Peace is Possible, 2.Joy to the World:  Mission in the Age of Global Christianity, and 3. For the Love of God:  John’s Letters
